A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds

Ralph Waldo Emerson said this in his essay, "Self-Reliance". I don't know foolish from wise, but I have to say that regarding the consistency point, I must have a mind the size of... of.... of something big for a mind to be.

I say this because I can't seem to will myself to develop a pattern of behavior that lasts more than one week. I start to exercise, then switch to beer and chips. I study Chinese for a few days, then download Quake and stay glued to my PC for days on end. There is no consistency to my actions that I can discern, but I fear that others may see all too clear a pattern. For example, there may be a certain consistency in my lack of consistency.

The reason I mention all of this is that I'm going to include a URL in this post that people who are interested can follow to a website called "You Tube" where I have posted a bunch of short video clips. There is no pattern or overriding theme to my videos. I just shoot them when I happen to have my camera handy.

Here is where to see them:

Take a look, and watch out for hobgoblins.
