I Confess

I just watched a film called "I Confess" (1953) starring Montgomery Clift, Ann Baxter, and Karl Malden.

In the film, Montgomery Clift plays a priest who hears a confession by a murderer, and then becomes the main suspect in that murder.

The film was directed by Alfred Hitchcock, and was written by Paul Anthelme (play) and George Tabori and William Archibald (screenplay).

I'd give this film about three and a half stars. It was okay, but a bit melodramatic and stilted.
